Monday the 25th:

?The VSK (Very Special Keg) tonight at The Blind Tiger in the Village is the?Stone Double Dry-Hopped Ruination with Calypso Hops and will be tapped at 5 pm.


?Uncle Barry?s in Park Slope launches their new monthly The Moot School of Beer tonight at 9 pm. Resident beerista Matt Volner will lead the tasting and discussion ? $15 gets you five samples, a glass to take home and a $2 discount on all featured beers for the rest of the night.

??Brewnity: NYC Homebrewers United is at the South Street Seaport Museum tonight from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. This is going to be a fun celebration of all things homebrew in NYC. We?ll be serving a variety of local homebrew (including a couple of my 2-year old sours) and have some educational exhibits. Homebrewers from many of the local groups will be present ? this is a great opportunity to meet your fellow homebrewers (if you brew) or learn more about homebrewing if you don?t. Best of all, tickets are only $10 with discount code NYCHG627. Tickets will also be available at the door, but please reserve ahead of time if you can. Entrance also allows you to wander this very interesting museum at leisure. Hope to see you there!

?Elixirs and Eats Presents Bacon, Beer, Booze and Burlesque at Hudson Terrace in Hell?s Kitchen tonight. Tickets are $49 (get them here) and include Ballast Point beers, a variety of spirits and tastes of seven different bacon dishes. The full line-up can be viewed on the Facebook event page.

??The Block Party Blow Out is at the City Winery in Tribeca today from 1 to 4 pm. The $45 ticket gets you a plate from each of the featured chefs/restaurants: David Burke, Garrett Oliver, Maharlika, Big Gay Ice Cream, Amali, Empire Mayo, Maison Premiere and Ty-Lor Boring plus 3 hours of DJs and live music. VIP tickets go on sale through Thrillist tomorrow ? it?s probably worth waiting to see if this includes an open bar or not. I?ll post those details & a link when I get them.


?Sycamore in Ditmas Park has their Annual Cyclones Tailgate Party today. From 12-5 at Sycamore, $25 gets you a plate of food, a pint of Brooklyn, and a ticket (in Sycamore?s block) to the Cyclone?s victory over the Aberdeen IronBirds. 5 drafts will be available all day and everyone will hop on the Q train to the game around 5:30 for a 6 pm game start time.


Sunday the 1st:

??Come hang out with three gypsy brewers from Denmark at the opening celebration of Beer Street in Williamsburg. Brewmasters Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergs? (Evil Twin), Mikkel Borg Bjergs? (Mikkeller), and Tore Gynther (To ?l) will be there from 3 to 7 pm. $15 bucks at the door gets you a plate of BBQ and your first beer. Additional beers will be available for purchase. 10 gypsy beers on draft, including:
